Practical guides for LandMap 312. The same basic text guides are bundled in the app for offline use. This website requires an internet connection.
This tour only explains controls. It does not request GPS, download maps, start a trial or open checkout.
01
GPS / Find My Location
Show your phone's position on an open map and choose whether the map follows you.
Open a downloaded village map.
Open Tools → Start live GPS. Enable location services and allow location access if Android asks.
Use Center on GPS to return to your location. Use Follow GPS to keep the view centered as you move.
Use Tools → Stop live GPS when finished.
Important notes
Wait for a stable GPS fix, preferably outdoors. The accuracy estimate is not a surveyed boundary. Satellite backgrounds may need internet even when the parcel map is downloaded.
02
Find My Parcel
Compare the GPS marker with the cadastral outlines and parcel numbers around it.
Open the correct village map and start live GPS from Tools.
Center on GPS, then zoom in until parcel detail and numbers are visible.
If needed, use Tools → Show parcel boundaries and Show parcel numbers.
Read the parcel number near the marker, then enter it in Search parcel number and tap Search to inspect it.
Important notes
There is no automatic legal parcel-identification guarantee. Near a boundary, GPS uncertainty can place you in an adjacent parcel. Verify the village and official parcel records.
03
Available Maps
Use the Cloud Library and Coverage tabs to explore the published catalog.
Open Maps from the bottom navigation.
Choose Cloud Library and browse by governorate, caza and village. Search accepts Arabic and English names.
Open Coverage to explore the available village coverage.
Choose the correct village and check access before downloading.
Important notes
The cloud catalog requires internet. Published map availability can change. A language change does not change village IDs or parcel numbers.
04
Parcel Search
Locate a known parcel number inside the village map you have opened.
Open the village's downloaded map.
Enter the parcel number in Search parcel number at the top.
Tap Search. The map highlights the matching parcel and displays its available details.
If no parcel is found, check the village and the exact cadastral number.
Important notes
Search does not translate or renumber cadastral identifiers. Searching a different village requires opening that village's map first.
05
Downloaded / Offline Maps
Download while online, then open the encrypted local map while your access remains valid.
In Maps → Cloud Library, find the village and tap Download while online.
Wait for the download to finish. Open it from Maps → Downloaded.
Use the downloaded-map search to find a saved village later.
Before field work, check your subscription or trial status and open the saved map to confirm it is ready.
Important notes
A saved file does not grant permanent access. Commercial maps lock when the trial expires. Trial use requires an internet check after a phone reboot or loss of trusted clock state. Paid access keeps its existing licence checks. Do not clear app data to troubleshoot a download.
06
Measuring Tools
Make approximate distance or area measurements with points on the map.
In the map viewer, open Tools → Measure distance / area.
Choose Distance or Area, then tap the map to add points.
Use Snap to attach nearby taps to parcel corners within the indicated tolerance. Add current GPS point is available when a GPS position exists.
Use Undo last point or Clear measurement to correct the drawing. Close the measurement controls when finished.
Important notes
Use at least two points for distance and three for area. Results depend on point placement, map data and GPS accuracy; they are not certified survey measurements.
07
Google Maps / Earth
Open the selected parcel's location in an external mapping application.
Search for a parcel in the open village map first.
Use the Google Maps / Earth selector in the viewer and choose the destination.
Allow Android to open the external application or browser.
Return to LandMap to continue working with cadastral parcel data.
Important notes
External apps and satellite imagery may require internet and may display different alignment or imagery dates. Google Maps directions do not establish ownership or legal access.
08
Calibration
Adjust the displayed map alignment carefully against reliable reference points.
Open Tools → Map calibration.
Select a small movement or rotation step before using the directional and rotation controls.
Compare more than one known reference point; use the center crosshair where useful.
Use Reset calibration to return to the map's base alignment if your local adjustment is unsuitable.
Important notes
Ordinary user adjustments are local to the device. Calibration administrators have separate publishing controls; do not publish shared calibration without authorization. East, north, rotation and map geometry keep their geographic meaning in Arabic.
09
Free Trial
Eligible accounts can explicitly start one 24-hour full-access trial without checkout.
Open Subscription and read the trial card and eligibility status.
Only when ready, use Start free 24-hour trial while online. Opening this tutorial does not start it.
Check the remaining time shown in the trial card. The server determines when the trial ends.
When it expires, subscribe through Google Play if you want to continue accessing commercial maps.
Important notes
No card, no purchase and no automatic renewal for the trial. The trial is not restarted by changing language or accounts. Rebooting the phone requires an online trial check before offline access can continue.
10
Subscription / Google Play
Review the actual Google Play price and renewal terms before choosing annual access.
Open Subscription. Read the price, introductory period if offered, and renewal terms.
Use Refresh Google Play pricing if prices are unavailable or stale. Eligible offers depend on the Google Play account and country.
If you choose to subscribe, review the selected Google account and final price in Google's checkout before confirming.
Use Manage subscription in Google Play for renewal management. Restore Google Play subscription is for an existing purchase, not a new purchase.
Important notes
An active yearly subscription includes published commercial maps without individual map purchases. If verification is pending or an ownership mismatch appears, do not purchase repeatedly or change accounts to bypass it; contact support. Prices shown by Google Play govern, including local currency and tax.
11
Referral Program
Share your own invitation link and let automatic attribution connect an eligible signup.
On Home, find Refer friends after your referral information loads.
Use Copy or WhatsApp to share the invitation link.
The recipient opens the link and follows the Google Play installation or app-opening flow.
During signup, Invitation detected only confirms link detection. Attribution and rewards require server confirmation and eligibility.
Important notes
There is no manual referral field on signup. A detected invitation is not a reward promise. Referral eligibility is separate from Google Play introductory-offer eligibility; existing limits and qualification rules still apply.
12
Extension Codes
Redeem an authorized extension code from the Subscription screen when your subscription is active.
Open Subscription and check that your subscription is active.
Tap Redeem extension code.
Enter the code exactly as provided, then choose Redeem. Cancel closes the dialog without applying it.
Read the server-confirmed result and updated expiry information.
Important notes
A code adds only the days authorized by the server. Do not assume it changes Google Play renewal unless the confirmed result says so. It is not a referral code and does not bypass subscription eligibility.
