Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LandMap Lebanon, operated by T2 Technology, the owner-designated data controller, handles information when you use the LandMap Lebanon Android application and the landmaplb.com services.
1. Information we collect
Depending on how you use LandMap Lebanon, we may process:
- Account information: full name, username, phone number, referral code, and a securely hashed version of your password.
- Device and security information: device identifier/fingerprint, device name, platform, app version, authorization status, and the public encryption key used to protect downloaded map packages.
- Subscription information: subscription status, start/end dates and, for Google Play purchases, the purchase token, order/subscription status, renewal status and related verification data. LandMap Lebanon does not receive your full payment-card details from Google Play.
- Referral information: referral relationships, successful referral status and subscription-day rewards.
- Service activity: map/download identifiers, software version, access timestamps and technical records such as IP address and user agent that are needed for security, delivery, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.
- Calibration data: map calibration adjustments that you explicitly save to the service, where that feature is available to your account.
2. Location / GPS
LandMap Lebanon requests device location permission so you can see your position relative to cadastral maps and use GPS-based map tools. Your live GPS position is used on the device for these features and is not intentionally uploaded to the LandMap Lebanon account server as a location history. If you choose to open or share information with an external mapping application, that external service is governed by its own privacy practices.
3. How we use information
- create, authenticate and secure your account;
- authorize devices and enforce the selected device limit;
- verify yearly subscription entitlement and provide access to available commercial maps;
- deliver and protect downloaded maps, including offline access controls;
- operate referral rewards;
- provide support, diagnose errors, prevent abuse and protect the service; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Google Play
When you purchase the yearly subscription through Google Play, payment processing is handled by Google Play. LandMap Lebanon receives the technical purchase information needed to verify and maintain your entitlement. Google handles payment data under Google's own terms and privacy policy.
5. Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate the service, such as our hosting infrastructure and Google Play for subscription billing. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or to investigate fraud or abuse.
6. Data security
We use measures including password hashing, authenticated API access, device authorization and protected map delivery. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so users should also keep their account credentials and devices secure.
7. Data retention
We keep account and service information for as long as it is needed to provide LandMap Lebanon, protect the service and meet legitimate legal or payment-record obligations. When an account is deleted, associated account data is deleted from the active service, subject only to limited information that must be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, dispute or transaction-record purposes.
24-hour trial: account deletion and anti-abuse retention
T2 Technology is the owner-designated operator and data controller for LandMap Lebanon. Privacy requests: landmaplb.com or WhatsApp +961 70 442 878.
While your account exists, we keep its trial dates and device claims to operate the one-time trial and investigate eligibility disputes. On completed account deletion we remove these trial records and their internal account/device links. We retain only a hashed device fingerprint and its expiry for 24 UTC calendar months from deletion to prevent repeated trials. These are pseudonymous identifiers, not guaranteed anonymous information. The retained evidence contains no name, phone number, password, internal account/device number or GPS history.
At the retention deadline the evidence no longer blocks trial eligibility. Scheduled cleanup deletes expired evidence in bounded batches during subsequent successful runs. For older deleted accounts with an unknown deletion date, the original trial-claim date is used; deployment does not start a new 24-month period. Separate payment, subscription-ownership, dispute and backup evidence follows separate retention requirements and is not purged by this trial cleanup.
Deletion ends server-side trial access. Deletion in the app clears that app's signed-in access. A different phone already offline cannot receive immediate notice of remote deletion: its previously issued trial permission may remain usable until the next authenticated check, a reboot requiring an online check, or the original 24-hour deadline, whichever applies first. Deletion never restarts or extends a trial. An old receipt cannot recreate a deleted account or grant server access.

ما دام حسابك موجوداً، نحتفظ بمواعيد تجربته وسجلات استخدام الأجهزة لإدارة التجربة المتاحة لمرة واحدة والتحقّق من الاعتراضات المتعلقة بالأهلية. عند اكتمال حذف الحساب، نحذف سجلات التجربة وروابطها بالأرقام الداخلية للحساب والأجهزة. ولمنع تكرار التجارب، نحتفظ فقط بقيمة تجزئة لبصمة الجهاز وموعد انتهاء الاحتفاظ بها، لمدة 24 شهراً تقويمياً بتوقيت UTC من تاريخ الحذف. هذه معرّفات مستعارة وليست بيانات مضمونة الإخفاء التام للهوية. ولا تتضمّن اسماً أو رقم هاتف أو كلمة مرور أو رقماً داخلياً للحساب أو الجهاز أو سجلّ مواقع GPS.
عند انتهاء مدة الاحتفاظ، لا تعود الأدلة المحفوظة تمنع أهلية التجربة. تحذف عملية التنظيف المجدولة الأدلة المنتهية على دفعات محدودة خلال دورات التنظيف الناجحة التالية. أما الحسابات المحذوفة سابقاً التي لا يُعرف تاريخ حذفها، فيُستخدم تاريخ تسجيل التجربة الأصلي؛ ولا يبدأ النشر مدة احتفاظ جديدة. تخضع أدلة المدفوعات وملكية الاشتراكات والنزاعات والنسخ الاحتياطية لمتطلبات احتفاظ منفصلة، ولا تحذفها عملية تنظيف التجارب.
ينهي حذف الحساب الوصول إلى التجربة على الخادم. ويزيل الحذف من داخل التطبيق صلاحية الجلسة في ذلك التطبيق. لكن هاتفاً آخر غير متصل بالإنترنت لا يمكنه تلقّي إشعار فوري بالحذف عن بُعد؛ لذلك قد يبقى إذن التجربة الصادر سابقاً صالحاً حتى التحقّق التالي من الجلسة عبر الإنترنت، أو إعادة تشغيل الهاتف التي تتطلّب تحقّقاً عبر الإنترنت، أو الموعد الأصلي لانتهاء تجربة الـ24 ساعة، بحسب ما ينطبق أولاً. لا يعيد حذف الحساب بدء التجربة ولا يمدّدها. ولا يمكن لإيصال قديم إعادة إنشاء الحساب المحذوف أو منح الوصول إلى الخادم.
8. Account and data deletion
You can permanently delete your LandMap Lebanon account from Settings → Account → Delete my account in the Android app, or use the external deletion page at landmaplb.com/delete-account.
Deleting the account removes the account and its associated active-service data, subject to the trial-retention and security/payment-record exceptions described above. Limited retained evidence is not an active subscription or permission to access maps. If your subscription renews through Google Play, LandMap will attempt to stop future renewal before deleting the account. If that cannot be completed automatically, you will be asked to cancel it through Google Play first so you are not charged after deletion.
9. Children's privacy
LandMap Lebanon is a professional cadastral/map utility and is not designed or directed to children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the application, legal requirements or our data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
